Our Story

Embrace the Journey

In 1995, Mubarak Khan began his catering career in Bombay. A year later, he returned to Lucknow, seeking greater opportunities. Not one to stay idle, he moved to Pune, becoming a chef. Despite financial hardships and low wages for 2-3 years, Mubarak never lost sight of his dreams.

The Birth of KGN Caterers

In 2000-2001, Mubarak, with his partners, opened the first KGN Caterers in Ganesh Peth, Pune. Despite business difficulties and his partners' departure, Mubarak’s confidence remained unshaken. In 2001, he took on the business independently, determined to make a mark in the catering industry.

A Turning Point

That year, Mubarak received an opportunity to cater an event for 3,000 people at Darshan Hall, establishing KGN Caterers in the market and showcasing the potential of his business.

Continued Struggles and Success

Relocating to Nana Peth brought two more years of struggle. Between 2008 and 2010, despite persistent business challenges, Mubarak’s perseverance led to substantial growth in 2010, attracting more customers and solidifying KGN Caterers' reputation.

Overcoming Challenges

The COVID-19 lockdown posed new challenges, causing financial strain and missed opportunities. However, through resilience and innovation, KGN Caterers adapted, continuing to serve clients with excellence.
